The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Thursday released 41,110 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 37,482 cusecs. According to the data released by IRSA here, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1424.17 feet, which was 55.17 feet higher than its dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded as 15,400 cusecs, while outflow was as 20,000 cusecs.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 19,885, 21415 and 6,950 cusecs respectively. The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1085.85 feet which was 45.85 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow of water was recorded as 5,972. Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 9,890 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 6,220 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
